Attorney Zuzanna Michałek-Strzelewicz is a highly experienced lawyer specializing in civil, family, and commercial law, as well as mediation and professional ethics. She combines extensive courtroom practice with a strong commitment to mediation and legal education.
She graduated in law from the Faculty of Law and Administration at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, where she also completed Postgraduate Studies in European Law and Postgraduate Studies in Professional Business Mediation. She further expanded her knowledge of corporate law at the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH), completing the postgraduate program “Academy of Companies.”
Attorney Michałek-Strzelewicz participated in international academic programs such as the Council of Europe Program on Human Rights and Introduction to English Law and the Law of the European Union, which provided her with a broad understanding of European and human rights law.
In 2003, after completing her legal apprenticeship and passing the bar examination, she was admitted to the Poznań Bar Association (Wielkopolska Bar Association). In 2018, she obtained the qualification of a certified mediator, integrating her litigation expertise with advanced negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
By decision of the Governor of the Greater Poland Province, from 2013 to 2016 she served as a member of the Regional Commission for Adjudication on Medical Events. Since 2022, she has been the Secretary of the Association of Professional Business Mediators.
Since February 2025, she has served as the President of the Disciplinary Court of the Poznań Bar Association, having previously held the positions of Vice-President (2016–2025) and Member of the Court (2013–2016).
Between 2024 and 2025, she was a member of the Working Group on the Standardization of Disciplinary Proceedings Documentation, established by the President of the Higher Disciplinary Court and the Disciplinary Ombudsman of the Polish Bar Council.
Attorney Michałek-Strzelewicz also serves as a member of the Ethics Committee of the Polish Bar Council, a Delegate to the National Bar Congress in Bydgoszcz (2025), and a member of the Training Committee for Trainee Attorneys at the Poznań Bar Association.
Since 2013, she has been a lecturer for trainee attorneys and practicing lawyers, teaching courses in family law and professional ethics.
In 2025, by decision of the Presidium of the Polish Bar Council, she was awarded the honorary distinction “Adwokatura Zasłużonym” (For Merit to the Polish Bar) in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the legal profession.
